Even if you're not ready to jump into scenery, you can get started with a simple set.  Basic train sets include a powered engine and several railroad cars.  Some will also include sections of track and sometimes a "power pack" to run the train.  Our Show Staff will gladly talk to you about starter sets or any other model railroading topic.  We are proud to say that all staff of The Great Scale Model Train Show are experienced model railroaders.
