Be aware: The early bird gets the worm! The increased popularity of this property has resulted in pressure for higher room rates, ESPECIALLY during the peak spring season. We have negotiated a special program for train show people only with Sales Director Tina Schmidt. "Blocks" of 20-25 rooms will be held for us; as one block fills, another will be established on a space available basis. Depending on general demand for rooms, when no more blocks are available, late reservations may be subject to an up-charge. The higher rate will still be lower than the current $99 "rack" rate and probably the best deal of any to be found at other local hotels. This exclusive arrangement is possible because of the quality of our people who are generally quiet and respectful of hotel property, personnel, and other guests.

Although hotel ownership changed in September 2015, the new management has reassured us that the special rate is still in effect for our shows.
